HCS nominations sought for 2016 Queen's Birthday Honours

17 / 6 / 2015 3.08pm

The Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) Sue Hill is looking for potential healthcare science candidates, who stand out for their impressive contribution, to be considered for the 2016 Queens Birthday Honours List.

What this means for employers

The honours system recognises everyday people who do wonderful things, giving them the acknowledgement they deserve.

This is an ideal opportunity to nominate someone from your healthcare science community who you think goes above and beyond their roles and responsibilities to deliver high quality care or make a difference to their local community. You can ensure their efforts don't go unnoticed!

Anyone can be nominated from volunteers to healthcare scientists, all you need to do is complete a citation form explaining why the nominee deserves recognition.

Submit your nominations

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday 1 July 2015 using this form.

In your nomination please explain:

  • what makes this individual stand out from the rest
  • what this individual has achieved
  • how this individual makes a difference
  • what makes this individual a good role model.
