The NHS Confederation has launched a survey with the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, seeking doctors’, nurses’ and Allied Health Professionals' (AHPs) understanding of the NHS payment system.

Many clinicians find the way that money flows around the NHS to be confusing, and see it as a barrier to delivering care in the most effective way for patients. This uncertainty has prompted the Royal Colleges to partner with the NHS Confederation to explore the views of doctors and nurses in the English NHS.

The short survey, entitled finances from the front, takes around five minutes to complete and will be open for six weeks.  The results will be used as the basis for discussion at a roundtable that the NHS Confederation is hosting with clinical leaders on 1 September.

If you are a doctor, nurse or an AHP in the English NHS, or know of any qualifying professionals, then please get involved and share your views in the survey

The survey is open from Monday 20 July and will close on Monday 31 August 2015.
