Join a live discussion about the proposals for a seven-day NHS on the Guardian Healthcare Network.

Colleagues from the NHS Employers organisation will be joining the debate including Bill McMillan, assistant director medical pay and workforce and Jeremy Orr, medical pay and workforce lead.

The discussion will include:

  • how can a seven-day NHS be made into a feasible and attractive option for workers and patients alike
  • what steps or changes have already been made towards 24/7 care, and what can we learn from them 
  • how can the workforce be supported through the transition to seven-day working
  • what will a seven-day NHS look like.
