A new, first of its kind agreement is providing the NHS, and other public sector organisations a single point of access to temporary healthcare workers, including doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and healthcare science services staff.
Developed by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) the agreement can help reduce the non-compliant spend on agency staff and fully complies with agency control measures. By sourcing all healthcare professionals through one commercial solution it offers the ability to maximise organisational buying power.
Nursing agency staff
From 19 October 2015 trusts have to secure nursing agency staff through framework agreements that have been approved by Monitor and the Trust Development Authority.
