Could the Buurtzorg way of delivering community-based integrated care be the answer for the English health system? Kate Ling, senior policy manager, NHS European Office asks the question in her latest blog.

Buurtzorg is a Dutch organisation which has empowered nurses to deliver community-based integrated care in the Netherlands. Its inspirational founder Jos de Blok, will speak at two breakout sessions at NHS Employers’ Autumn workforce summit on Tuesday 13 October in London.

If you’re attending this event, don’t miss the opportunity to hear Jos describing how his vision of empowering nurses to deliver excellent care has become a reality, in the session Beyond Borders – learning from healthcare systems in Europe.

Read more about Buurtzorg, what they're doing and how they're doing it and the success they've had to date in Kate's blog.

Places are still available at the summit - find out more and book your place.
