See Potential is a new campaign launched by the government aimed at helping employers to recognise the hidden talent in people who are determined to find work in the face of significant personal challenges such as:

  • drug or alcohol addiction
  • a criminal record
  • time in care
  • homelessness.

The campaign hopes to highlight how people from disadvantaged backgrounds can provide a source of untapped skills and positive attitudes. Other benefits include improved staff engagement and capability, and increased brand value.

Find out how you can support the See Potential campaign and which organisations are working with disadvantaged groups in your area.

Jobcentre Plus (JCP) who are supporting this initiative is one of the most experienced recruiters in the country and can offer free support to NHS organisations. You can read more about the recruitment support they offer and other benefits of working with JCP on our webpage.
