In support of Black History Month, the diversity and inclusion programme has launched a network guidance on how to set up a staff support network.

The framework guidance has been developed by Beverley Powell, Equality and Diversity Advisor at Barnsley NHS Foundation Trust, and Karl Portz, Equality and Diversity Advisor at Yorkshire Ambulance NHS.

The network guidance can be adapted for any type of staff support network, and it has been launched with an example for black and minority ethnic (BME) staff networks, in support of black history month.
