Zoe shares with us her personal experience of raising a concern and how she become a raising concern champion in her trust, in our latest podcast.
We spoke with Zoe Brown on the morning of our August raising concerns share and learn meeting in Leeds and captured her story. Zoe tells us how she champions raising concerns within the trust, her autonomy and how she engages with the board, and the positive impact her role has on staff and the organisation.
Zoe is safety and experience lead at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust and was appointed to her role in line with the recommendations Sir Robert Francis made following his Freedom to Speak Up review.

NHS Employers is keen to link up with all Freedom to Speak Up Guardians to find out how the role is being implemented locally and the difference it is making to staff and the raising concerns culture. We will shortly be publishing a Freedom to Speak Up Guardian map, providing details of Guardian's within trusts. Please encourage your local guardians to get in touch by emailing raising concerns.
