Supporting Britain's Reservists and Employers (SaBRE), set up by the Ministry of Defence to promote good working relationships between the MoD, reservists and their employers, has been absorbed by the wider MoD Defence Relationship Management (DRM) team.
NHS Employers will now refer and signpost to the former SaBRE content on our website and in publications as set out below.
SaBRE representatives will now be referred to as Regional Employer Engagement Directors (REEDs). Their contact information is listed on the NHS Reserve Forces footprint map.
Employer Recognition Scheme
The Employer Recognition Scheme will continue under the new DRM umbrella. All information on current award holders and how to apply for an award is on the DRM website.
The Corporate Covenant will also continue under DRM. More information about how your organisation can pledge their support to the armed forces community can now be found on the DRM website.
Guidance and toolkits
The DRM website continues to provide comprehensive guidance on the legal rights and responsibilities for both employers and reservists. For more details on the range of support DRM offers to employers, please visit the DRM website.
