NHS Transformathon 27-28 January 2016 – programme highlights

On the 27 and 28 January, the first ever Transformathon, a 24-hour, free, global event, will be broadcast from The Edge website.

The event will bring together health and care professionals and patients to connect, share and learn from each other and showcase the latest innovations, practices and methodologies to make change happen. This global event will allow people to connect with world-leading change experts to share experiences of successes and lessons learnt. 

Guest speakers include: 

  • Roy Lilley, health and policy analyst, writer and broadcaster, explains the Academy of Fabulous NHS stuff 
  • Nigel Edwards, CEO at Nuffield Trust, looks at the potential of design by crowd 
  • Carol Read, Innovation Lead for Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, explores how social media has fundamentally altered the landscape of health and care 
  • Dr Peter Fuda, a global leader in transformational change, gives a guide to his best research and insights. 
The event is free and will be accessible anywhere via your mobile device or computer. To watch any of the sessions during the 24 hours, visit the NHS Transformathon webpage. Viewers who have logged into The Edge will be able to ask live questions to the panel, chat to other viewers or you can join the conversation on Twitter using #NHSTform.

All of the content will also be available on catch up if you are unable to make a session.
