As the first nurses and midwives start to pass through the revalidation process, the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) continues to produce supporting materials for employers and registrants.

Over the next few weeks, look out for new resources designed to help you and your nursing and midwifery workforce go through the process.

Common revalidation myths

This week, the NMC is tackling some common revalidation myths. Read more in the mythbusting press release and supporting mythbusting document. In addition, read the first in a series of blogs from NMC chief executive and registrar Jackie Smith.

New case studies

The NMC has also this week published three more case studies featuring nurses and midwives who underwent revalidation during the pilot process. You can download these from the NMC website

Further information and what's coming next week

Further information on revalidation is available from the dedicated NMC revalidation microsite. Next week, resources will focus on how straightforward the revalidation process is.
