Engagement event reveals what staff need to be supported to work longer

NHS Working longer review

19 / 2 / 2016 Midnight

The Working Longer Group has published a new case study explaining how Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board worked to find out what its staff need in order to be supported to work longer.

The health board held an event to raise awareness of the challenges, and opportunities, associated with working longer. They also wanted to find out how staff feel about working longer, what is currently being done in the organisation to support this, and to understand what could be done differently.

Read the case study to find out how the event was planned, the benefits of engaging, and some of the challenges they came up against. You can also find some top tips for running your own event.
