The latest figures for flu vaccination uptake in frontline healthcare workers have been released by Public Health England.

A total of 475,883 frontline staff had their flu vaccination in the period from 1 September 2015 to 31 January 2016. That's 49.5 per cent of eligible healthcare workers in England, which is 5.1 per cent less than the same point last year.

Although there has been a small dip in uptake compared to 2014/15 to 2015/16, the flu jab remains the best prevention against the flu and trusts in England work hard to achieve maximum uptake each season to protect their frontline staff, as well as their patients and families.

See the top performing trusts below and the full table from Public Health England.
