February marks the UK's official lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) History Month. The overall aim of LGBT History Month is to promote equality and diversity for the benefit of the public.
NHS Employers is encouraging organisations to take this opportunity to raise awareness of issues that exist within the workplace. It is a great opportunity to share information about the journeys and successes of trusts that are leading the way with their diversity and inclusion agenda.
Across the nation, there will be an increase of the visibility of LGBT history, lives and their experiences to raise awareness and advance education on matters affecting the LGBT community.
The Diversity and Inclusion team has produced guide with key facts, figures and some tips for good practice to help you throughout the month.
