The first ever 24-hour live broadcast for the NHS took place on 27 and 28 January, and the sessions are now all available online for you to watch.

NHS Transformathon brought the world together to share change innovations, ideas, successes and lessons learnt – all to help improve the NHS. The broadcast featured more than 100 change experts, staff and patients from the UK, and as far away as New Zealand and Canada, to share the latest methods and models for making change.

Rob Webster, Chief Executive of NHS Confederation said:

"The Transformathon was a brilliant showcase of improvement and innovation from across the NHS. It highlighted the impact of developments like #MatExp which grew from NHS Change day into a national programme and showed how harnessing the potential of staff and patients will help transform the NHS. The library of resources is a treasure trove that everyone should plunder."

Some of the topics included:

·         how to use social media and film to improve health and care services

·         how organisations in Wandsworth have come together to improve the health of their community

·         the introduction of seven day services in Australia

·         prototyping in the new care models programme

·         how patients are leading and driving change.
