Celebrate your apprenticeship successes

08 / 3 / 2016 10am

Apprenticeships can bring many benefits to the workplace and a number of organisations already celebrate their apprenticeship achievements. If you hold an awards ceremony, or have other apprenticeship successes you wish to share, please do get in touch as we are keen to share good news stories and raise the profile of NHS apprenticeships.

There are many ways you can celebrate apprenticeships both within your organisation and on a national platform - check out some of the below suggestions:

National Apprenticeship Week

National Apprenticeship Week 2016 begins on the 14 March and is an ideal time to raise awareness of apprenticeships within your organisation. Many NHS organisations hold events during this week to share good news about their successes and achievements over the last year. If you are planning an event, there are a suite of resources available to download on the GOV.UK website that can help to guide your activity and communications.

NHS Employers will be releasing new tools and resources during National Apprenticeship Week 2016, so please do make sure to check back at the website.

National Apprenticeship Awards

The National Apprenticeship Awards challenge top apprenticeship employers and apprentices across England to come forward and show how apprenticeships have made a real difference to their organisation and careers. The very best employer category entries will also feature in the prestigious Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers list, sponsored by City and Guilds. Find out more about the 2015 winners on the Gov.uk website.

CIPD People Management Awards

The CIPD People Management Awards 2016, now also includes a category for best apprenticeship scheme, which is looking to recognise high-quality apprenticeship programmes that demonstrate clear alignment with the organisation’s business and people strategies.

We're aware that employers across the NHS show great commitment to apprenticeships and would encourage you to shout loud about your successes to get the recognition you deserve.
