Public Health Wales announces February flu figures

The latest flu vaccination uptake figures for frontline healthcare workers have been released by Public Health Wales. Detailing immunisations that took place from September 2015 – 29 February 2016, the report shows that 47.1 per cent of staff with direct patient contact received their flu jabs.

This is an increase of 0.6 per cent on the previous month’s figures and a fantastic increase of 2.8 per cent compared to the same time last year. 

Top performers

The top three performing health boards and trusts of staff percentage with direct patient contact immunised:
