Equality, Diversity and Human Rights Week will take place on 16-20 May, and we have developed a brand new set of resources to help you make this year’s week the best yet.
Your equality and diversity lead, and some of your senior managers, should already be familiar with last year’s event. Download the brand new logo, as well as web banners, posters and social media resources, to promote your own activities. The communications toolkit contains key stats, facts and messages to use on your own channels and social media - please share this resource with your communications colleagues.
Access the Equality Week communications toolkit.
You can also join the conversation by using the hashtag #EQW2016 and show your support on social media through our twibbon campaign.
Making change happen
The theme for this year is Making change happen. The focus for the week, and beyond, will be on how health and social care organisations have used the levers of the Equality Delivery System (EDS2) and the Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) to support change within their workplaces. We are also encouraging organisations to celebrate how they have used their staff and social networks, including the Personal, Fair and Diverse model, to empower and engage with staff.
