The apprenticeship levy comes into force in April 2017 and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is looking to gather views from HR colleagues concerning this new policy.

CIPD is looking for members of the HR community, including employers that don't currently offer apprenticeships, to take part in interviews concerning the practicalities, including any barriers or complications.

While NHS Employers responded on behalf of the sector in the consultation held on the levy and raised concerns gathered from our engagement with employers about the financial implications this is an opportunity for HR professionals to express their views around some of the issues individual trusts may face.

To take part in the interviews please contact Gerwyn Davies on g.davies@cipd.co.uk or 020 8612 6376.

Read the NHS Employers response to the consultation on the levy.

NHS Employers has also submitted a response to the consultation on the introduction of apprenticeship targets for the public sector. Download our response.
