Heather Bruce from University Hospitals Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, was one of the first Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU) guardians in the country. This blog describes her first year in post, how she has actively promoted her role, reaching over 6,000 staff across a large geography and next steps as the role develops.
