Ambulance colleagues have produced a new guide, Tackling Bullying in Ambulance Trusts: A guide for action.

The guide contains analysis, advice, case studies and recommendations for how to tackle bullying and create positive cultures in ambulance trusts. It has been created by ambulance colleagues as a call to action to implement changes and improve staff experience.

For more information on how to develop organisational cultures that promote higher levels of morale, motivation, staff satisfaction, wellbeing and engagement the ambulance workforce take a look at the dedicated ambulance workforce web pages.

The ambulance service and its workforce face specific challenges and unique circumstances in the health and care system. The staff survey in ambulance trusts found that 29 per cent of staff experienced bullying, harassment or abuse from other staff compare to 24 per cent in the NHS overall.
