May 2008

• New profiles have been added to the Generic Therapy in the AHP job family and the Generic sub family of the Nursing and Midwifery job family:
  • Clinical Researcher band 6
  • Clinical Researcher Specialist band 7
  • Clinical Researcher Principal band 8a
  • Clinical Researcher band b c d

May 2007

• The following reviewed profiles have been published in Ambulance Services:
  • Emergency Service Call Taker
  • Ambulance Services Driver (PTS) Higher Level
  • Emergency Services Team Leader
  • Emergency Services Area Manager
• The following profiles have been withdrawn or the reviewed profiles above have been given an amended profile label, replacing the label below:
  • (Ambulance) Call Taker./Control Assistant
  • Patient Transport Services (PTS) Driver/Carer Higher Level
  • Ambulance Station Officer (Team Leader)
  • Ambulance Service Area Manager

April 2007

• New profiles have been added to Generic Therapy in the AHP job family and a new sub family in Nursing and Midwifery for generic profiles. The new profiles can be used for both staff groups:
  • Practice Educational Facilitator (Entry level)
  • Practice Education Facilitator
• Biomedical Scientist Advanced Band 7 - an anomaly has been found in the 'Responsibility for Information Resources' factor and as a result the wording has been changed and the JE Level now reads 1-2(a)(b), which is the same as that for the Band 6 Biomedical Scientist Specialist.
