The new 2003 contract applies to all consultants first appointed after 30 October 2003, as well as those who have chosen to transfer to it. Consultant contract appeals
In the event that a consultant is not satisfied with the outcome of a mediation procedure in job planning and pay progression disputes, Schedule 4 of the Terms and Conditions of Service Consultants (England) 2003 (T&Cs) makes provision for a formal appeal to be made.
