Membership of non-medical and medical committees and negotiating groups

  

In recent months we have been undertaking an exercise to fill vacancies with employer representatives on our medical and non-medical negotiating groups and committees based on expressions of interest we received from Assembly members and other NHS Managers.

These pages list the members of each negotiating group and committee.

NHS Employers' Pay and Negotiations team offers support and advice to employers in the NHS. Individual members of staff are advised to seek advice from their employer, professional representative or trade union.

Consultants' negotiating team
This page lists members of the consultants' negotiating team.

Junior doctors' negotiating team
The Joint Negotiating Committee (Juniors) Employers Team is chaired by Stephen Griffin, Executive Director of Personnel and Development at County Durham and Darlington Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, and negotiates with the BMA changes to terms and conditions of service for doctors in training.

KSF group

NCCG negotiating team
The Staff and Associate Specialists Negotiating Team is led by Heather Lawrence, chief executive at Chelsea and Westminster Healthcare NHS Trust. The group is working to a mandate from the Department of Health (DH) to conduct a review of the pay and terms and conditions for Staff and Associate Specialists (also known as Non Consultant Career Grade

NHS Staff Council
The Employers side of the NHS Staff Council is currently chaired by Nigel Turner, Human Resources Director at Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust. The Council has overall responsibility for the Agenda for Change pay system. Its remit includes:
