Government accepts flexible working recommendations
Business secretary John Hutton has accepted recommendations to extend the right to request flexible working to parents of children up to age 16. The recommendations are the outcome of an independent review by Imelda Walsh, the HR director of Sainsbury's. The Government will now consult on implementing the proposals.

The event takes place against the backdrop of a new single Equality Bill with a programme designed to help delegates explore how far they have come within their own organisations and what more they need to do to meet the challenges of the emerging agenda.
