In 2006, we estimated that NHS Jobs had directly saved trusts between 40-48 million pounds in just one year. We expect NHS Jobs is delivering even more significant savings for organisations today. We are asking all NHS organisations currently registered to use NHS Jobs, to complete this online survey to help us gauge this aspect of the service's success. At the heart of NHS Jobs lies the promise of cost savings but we would also like to hear about all the other benefits NHS Jobs has brought your organisation, whether that be improving the efficiency of recruitment processes, increasing the pool of high quality candidates, improving recruitment planning or reducing the time to recruit. The survey is divided into 3 sections focusing on your organisation's current and likely future use of NHS Jobs, the achievements of NHS Jobs in delivering benefits and your organisation's estimated cost savings. Before completing the survey please take some time to read the guide to completing the survey and ensure you have the following information to hand: * Details of your organisation's advertising expenditure for 06/07 and 07/08 * Estimated cost savings for recruitment, administration, temporary staff and any other costs for 07/08 * Total number of appointments made during 07/08 based on applications received from NHS Jobs * Percentage of online/offline application forms received during 07/08 This research will be analysed and published as part of an NHS Employers' briefing on how NHS Jobs is delivering benefits for the NHS and our strategic vision for the future for the service in November 2008. We are asking all NHS organisations to complete the online survey by 19 September 2008. For further information please contact the NHS Jobs team using the details above.
