The Health Learning and Skills Advice Line provides free and confidential careers advice and guidance to support staff who work in, or are considering a career in the NHS. The Health Learning and Skills Advice Line, delivered by Careers Advice in partnership with NHS Careers and Skills for Health, offers impartial advice on ways to learn, develop new skills or get the qualifications staff need to make the most of their potential. The service is manned by trained careers advisers and can be used to complement existing training and development services within trusts. Users can access the advice line by calling 08000 150 850 or visiting the Health Learning and Skills Advice Line website. Lines are open from 8am to 10pm Monday to Friday, with an out-of-hours message and call-back service. Calls are free and confidential. To promote this service within your trust, posters and business cards are available to order free of charge.
