Agency application and appeal procedures

NHS Employers has produced guidance containing the procedures used when an agency applies to be placed on the list. The guidance also details the appeals process used when an agency has been removed from the list for a breach of the code.

Formal appeals against the removal of an agency from the Code of Practice list will be considered by an appeals panel. All agencies should read the supplied guidance before completing the questionnaire.
