The Home Office is rolling out the points-based system (PBS) which will be replacing all routes of entry to work, train and study in the UK. However, until the whole programme is live, employers must continue to utilise the current routes in place. Any enquiries about the right of an individual doctor or dentist to work in the UK should be directed to the Home Office.
