The pay calculator is designed to show how the basic pay of individual members of staff will change over the three years of the proposed pay deal. Selecting a pay point on the existing pay structure will demonstrate how a member of staff on that pay point will move through the new pay structure. The recalculator assumes that the member of staff will stay in the same role (e.g, will not be promoted), and will successfully pass through each pay step point.
It shows basic pay only, it does not show any other enhancements such as unsocial hours, overtime, high cost area supplements (HCAS) etc.
The online pay calculator can now be accessed on a dedicated pay calculator website.
To see how the proposed deal compares to what individuals might have otherwise received, see our further pay details page.
