Junior doctors in training can train on a less than full time (LTFT) basis in particular circumstances

The table below outlines the total salaries and banding supplements payable to trainees working less than 40 hours a week under pre-June 2005 pay arrangements. 

This information is provided for trainees who were placed on these arrangements before June 2005 and have still not completed training. No new practitioners should be placed on these arrangements. Guidance on the pay system for full-time and flexible trainees (pre-June 2005 pay arrangements) can be found in AL(MD)1/01.
