A new guidance document from the NHS Staff Council Job Evaluation Group (JEG)
outlines the continued importance of consistency checking of job evaluation outcomes and keeping records, to mitigate equal pay risks.
In October 2012, the JEG published Mitigating equal pay risks following the end of CAJE
. We are now in the second year following the end of CAJE (computer aided job evaluation) being centrally funded in England and, following our recent survey
of JE processes and practices, the new guidance provides a reminder for employers of the importance of these procedures.
