Mark Doughty
Mark is co-founder of The Centre for Patient Leadership, he’s a member of the NHS Leadership Academy Faculty and an associate with the King’s Fund.

Over the last four years he has worked with 700 patient leaders and is co-author of a series of articles on patient leadership written for the HSJ. His work on patient leadership was shortlisted for a Guardian Healthcare Innovation Award in 2013 and he was a finalist for the Ashoka Changemakers Innovation for Health Award.

Mark was recognised in the HSJ top 50 Patient Leaders 2015 list for his work in shaping healthcare and because he is seen by many as originating the idea of patient leaders.
