GMS contract changes 2014/15

NHS Employers and the General Practitioners Committee (GPC) of the British Medical Association have agreed changes to the General Medical Services contract for 2014/15 for England.

The main changes in 2014/15 were: 341 points from QOF were retired, the introduction of the avoiding unplanned admissions ES, agreement that seniority payments will cease on 31 March 2020, publication of GP NHS net earnings in 2015, named accountable GP for over 75's, it also became a contractual requirement for practices to undertake the Friends and Family Test from December 2014.
