1. What are the first steps in establishing a relationship with Jobcentre Plus (JCP)?
JCP can provide assistance with a wide range of recruitment issues. In establishing an effective partnership, it may first help to consider the challenges currently facing your organisation and look to match these to the services JCP can provide - read more about the support on offer on our dedicated webpages.
To name but a few, working in partnership with JCP can help you effect cost savings, reduce recruitment timescales, help you find a better fit for your vacancies, and allow you to better engage with job seekers from within your local community. In short JCP can help you recruit the right people, at the right time, in the right place.
If you would like help in identifying who your local JCP contact is, or would like to discuss ways in which JCP may be able to assist your organisation, then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
2. Does JCP charge for its services?
JCP are a fully-funded national service. As such, you won't receive an invoice, will not be charged for their services, and could indeed experience a considerable cost saving by reducing reliance on recruitment agencies for your hard-to-fill vacancies.
3. Are there any job roles that JCP can particularly help me to recruit to?
JCP are particularly adept at assisting in recruiting to band 1-4 vacancies, such as Healthcare Assistants and Admin and Clerical support roles, that typically attract a high volume of applications. However, given the economic climate, it is also important to emphasise the diversity of jobseekers that JCP currently serve.
4. Can you give me examples of best practice across the NHS?
Across the NHS there are many examples of strong partnership working. If you would like some food for thought, visit our case study library to see how other organisations have benefited from working together with JCP.
5. Where can I find out more?
