The trust is seeking an outstanding individual to join it on its journey towards excellence. The trust is undergoing a management restructure and site redevelopment with a £480 million capital programme to build a new hospital which meets the highest clinical standards and offers patients a modern, spacious care environment. 

In this newly created role, responsible for the delivery of high quality patient care and clinical leadership, the successful candidate will be passionate and driven to improve quality and innovation to better enhance patient experience. They will will ensure that these are aligned to the vision, values, strategic direction and business plans for the trust. You will be an effective and credible leader able to drive and build clinical engagement with demonstrable experience in a clinical leadership role. An extensive knowledge of clinical governance is required in order for you to develop and implement an integrated governance system throughout the trust. Staff engagement is central to the organisation's improvement approach, so you will need an adaptable communication style to engage and motivate clinicians and their teams to ensure high quality patient care at all times.
