Getting OSCE support right

05 / 09 / 2016

Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has developed an objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) preparation programme to help international recruits prepare for their new nursing role in the UK. The programme includes a workbook and weekly workshops for candidates to practice the various skills that will be tested in the final exam.

Colleagues across the trust have been involved in designing and delivering the OSCE programme, which has led to high pass rates and an increased opportunity for staff to work together across teams.
