Tackling sickness absence

Since introducing their new attendance policy, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has reduced their sickness absence rates by 11 per cent in the last 12 months.

This amazing result is the equivalent of 37 extra staff available in their organisation every day.

Ashley Judd, deputy director of workforce at the trust attributes their success to putting people before process.
