Employer Recognition Scheme Gold award winners 2017

The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) is a Ministry of Defence run scheme which encourages employers to support the work of the Ministry of Defence, and inspire others to do the same. The ERS Gold award is the highest award of the scheme, recognising organisations who actively support the Armed Forces community in their workplace.

The scheme awarded four NHS trusts in England in 2017 for the prestigious Gold award for advocating their commitment to the Armed Forces. The four trusts included: 

  • City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust
  • Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
  • North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust
  • South Central Ambulance Service NHS Trust
