As part of the national work on the workforce disability equality programme, NHS England and NHS Employers diversity and inclusion team have organised four share and learn webinars to help NHS organisations implement the NHS Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES).
The webinar will share insights on WDES action planning and will include good practice examples from trusts who have developed robust action plans to help them focus on the changes needed to be made in the short, medium and long-term.
In addition, we will be hosting a further three webinars:

Learn more about the WDES
The WDES came into force on 1 April 2019 and is a set of specific measures (metrics) that will enable NHS organisations to compare the experiences of disabled and non-disabled staff.
Find out more about the WDES and access a range of resources to assist with implementation.
