As part of the national work on the workforce disability equality programme, NHS Employers diversity and inclusion team and NHS England have organised four share and learn webinars to help NHS organisations implement the NHS Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES).

This webinar will provide support to those involved in recruiting and retaining staff with disabilities and will:

  • help managers build a wider understanding of the WDES metrics that are relevant to recruitment and retention
  • share good practice on building line management capability in supporting, understanding and valuing disabled staff
  • identify inclusive practice in the recruitment and retention of disabled staff.
