As part of the national work on the workforce disability equality programme, NHS Employers diversity and inclusion team and NHS England have organised four share and learn webinars to help NHS organisations implement the NHS Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES).
In this webinar we will share insights from a variety of organisations on how best to develop an organisation-wide action plan on increasing the disclosure of staff disability. We will also highlight a number of resources that can provide further insight and support around declaration rates and workforce disability.

The WDES came into force on 1 April 2019 and is a set of specific measures (metrics) that will enable NHS organisations to compare the experiences of disabled and non-disabled staff.
