The second of our mini case study series looks at how Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust successfully embedded a health, employee, learning and psychotherapy (HELP) service into its staff wellbeing offer.

The trust introduced HELP services to ensure more staff are able to get the help and therapy they need. HELP includes services such as individual counselling and psychotherapy, specialist eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) trauma and stress management workshops. 98 per cent of staff who attended sessions said it prevented them from taking time off work.
