The Institute for Apprenticeships (IFA) is consulting on its proposed outline content for T-level programmes in five subject areas including health and healthcare science.
T levels are two-year, technical programmes designed with employers, to give 16-19-year olds the skills that industries need and will be offered as an alternative to A-levels and apprenticeships from September 2020.
The IFA is seeking your views to help ensure that the outline content captures the right knowledge, skills and performance outcomes that will enable students to enter employment within their chosen occupational specialisms.
You can read the outline content and submit a response on the IFA website.
NHS Employers will be submitting a response, on behalf of employers in the NHS. If you’d like to feed into this response, please contact Heidi.Williams@nhsemployers.org by Tuesday 15 January.
The consultation closes on Thursday 17 January 2019. The IFA will consider all responses and publish the final content for these T-Levels in Spring 2019.
