Lincolnshire's staff engagement tube map

Staff talking

Our new case study looks at how Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust took inspiration from the London Underground to develop its staff engagement tube map.

As part of its work to improve staff engagement scores on the NHS Staff Survey and in an effort to improve its Care Quality Commission rating, the trust developed the map and focused on getting three areas of engagement right.

  • Advocacy – how staff talk about the organisation.
  • Involvement – how employees decide on the work they do.
  • Motivation – how enthusiastic staff are to come to work.

The publication also focuses on how the trust looked at a number of areas to build better leadership and capability, developing a range of activities to help engage staff day to day. You can learn more by reading the case study on our website.
