Learning Disability Employment Programme webinars

Laptop and finger on mouse

The Learning Disability Employment Programme recently held two webinars which were facilitated by the National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) to help support NHS organisations to employ more people with a learning disability and/or autism. The webinars were recorded and are now available to watch anytime.

Launched in 2015, the Learning Disability Employment Programme (LDEP) supports the development of local and national solutions to remove barriers and increase employment opportunities for people with a learning disability in the NHS.

Until the 30 April 2019, NHS employers can benefit from tailored expert support from NDTi and the National Autistic Society to improve their recruitment and retention rates for staff with a learning disability and/or autism.  The support is available to organisations who have signed up to the LDEP pledge or those who are interested in doing so. Find out more about the support available, visit the Learning Disability Employment Programme.
