Employability Day 2019

Organisations across the country are hosting events and sharing good practice for this year’s Employability Day which takes place on Friday 28 June.

Co-ordinated by Employment Related Services Agency (ERSA), Employability Day is a national day of recognition for those working to support local people into employment.

The theme for this year’s day is ‘closing the gaps’, which provides a platform for employers to showcase how they are working to support disadvantaged people to enter, sustain or progress into work.

Employers are also encouraged to showcase some of the employability schemes available across the NHS and highlight the benefits these bring for both organisations and individuals.

Employability activities can range from work experience to workplace visits, or support with practice interviews and CV writing, all of which help get people to a point where they are more able to take on employment.

Join the hundreds of businesses, charities and other bodies who will be raising awareness about how they can support local people into employment.
