Have your say on resources for supporting social workers

NHS managers are invited to attend a free workshop to offer their views on new guidance and resources on how to best support social workers employed in mental health services.

The workshop, hosted by Health Education England, will take place on Tuesday 3 December, from 10:00 – 13:30 at Skills for Care’s office in London.

As a growing part of the mental health workforce, a significant number of social workers are directly employed by trusts with many others operating under partnership arrangements in multi-disciplinary teams.

As part of Health Education England’s mental health implementation programme for social work, it was identified that NHS trust managers would find it useful to have dedicated guidance, information, tools and resources to help them support social workers employed under these different arrangements.
