Nominations open for Employer Recognition Scheme awards 2020

Trophy with stick figures

Nominations have opened for the Ministry of Defence (MoD) Employer Recognition Scheme silver and gold awards, which recognise employers for their support to the Armed Forces community. The awards encourage employers to publicly demonstrate their forces friendly status across all members of the community within their workforce.

In order to put your organisation forward for a silver or a gold award, you can express your interest on the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme website. Once this has been received, you will have the opportunity to work with your regional employment engagement director (REED) to develop and enhance your submission.

Submit your expression of interest before 15 April 2020 for the silver award, or 11 March 2020 for the gold award. Organisations that are successful in receiving an award will be notified once the deadlines have passed and will have the opportunity to attend a prestigious awards ceremony to celebrate their achievements later this year.

Would your NHS organisation like to publicly show commitment and support of the Armed Forces community? All the relevant information and details of the award criteria can be found on our ERS awards web page, including how to nominate your organisation initially for a bronze award.
