Latest COVID 19 guidance updates


The following updates have been made to the COVID-19 guidance for workforce leaders in the past few days:

Staff wellbeing and support - This page now links to a guide on advice for managers on lone workers. It has also been updated to include a link to a guidance document on preventing and addressing social stigma attached to COVID-19.

Infection control - This page has been further updated with information on accessing an employee referral portal to register staff for COVID-19 testing, as well as an online booking service for staff to book direct. Employers can access a campaign pack to help them promote this service on site.

Support available for NHS staff – This section is updated to include information on bereavement, staff common rooms and downloadable wellbeing posters.

Visa extensions and application process – This page now has an update list of professions.

FAQs on overseas skilled supply – A new FAQ has been added on PLAB 1 and 2 for overseas doctors.

Bereavement guidance - New bereavement guidance to support staff following the loss of a colleague, friend or family member during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Military reserves - This page now has new information about recruitment from the Armed Forces community and details of how reserves and members of the Armed Forces community are supporting the pandemic.

Supporting our most vulnerable people - This page has been updated to include a link from the Equality and Human Rights Commission about reducing the impact of COVID-19 on pregnant women and those on maternity leave.
Support available for NHS staff - This page has been updated to include information on, and a link to, a new wellbeing app to support the adult social care workforce in England.
